Made to Teach | My First Watercolor Workshop

I’ve always loved to teach, but I never truly realized it until I was asked to tutor for a class in college. I was utterly terrified and intimidated by the prospect, but I felt that God was asking me to trust Him and take a leap of faith. Fast-forward 2 years and I was totally hooked on teaching! What is there not to like? You get to share your passion for what you love and help others gain confidence in their own abilities at the same time! I never thought to combine my love for art and teaching together until a few months ago. I am now HOOKED, and I cannot wait to share this journey with you!

Then, of course, the COVID-19 pandemic broke loose and all forms of human contact were suddenly out the window. I was discouraged. How can I host a workshop without any interaction? The answer, of course, was to reach out to my community and host digital workshops! I am looking forward to my first digital workshop in the coming weeks. In the meantime, I turned to that ever-present source of encouragement and support: FAMILY. I’m so blessed to have such an amazing family that allowed me to practice on them. We had lots of laughs and ended with some beautiful watercolor paintings!
