I didn’t grow up in Pennsylvania, but after almost three years it is quickly becoming my home. It is so amazing to see each community banding together to support one another even while we are quarantined in our homes! I’ve seen community “window” scavenger hunts for kids, people getting groceries for elderly neighbors, and so much more. I’m so proud to be a part of my community and I love the camaraderie that is coming to the surface during this trying time.

Inspired by this kindness, I hosted a free virtual watercolor for my community in hopes that a dedicated time to relax and let creativity loose would lighten everyone’s spirits. Thank you to all who spent some time painting with me! I am excited to grow as a teacher and to learn of even more ways that I can serve my community.
